It is no longer a secret that artificial intelligence is not limited to logical analysis. We can ask it to be humorous, empathetic, cold, or supportive. These so-called expressions are possible because it feeds on everything we leave behind and label with such qualities on the internet.
But how does AI perceive the emotions it cannot feel on its own? What can a system of code grasp from them? Can it apply them properly—and how does it regard what cannot truly be learned?
