The Pollock Diamond Robbery occurred on a train in 1892. W. G. Pollock, a diamond merchant, fell victim to an attack by James Burke, also known as "Kid" McCoy, a young man who had recently been released from prison. Terrifying the passengers, the perpetrator stole $15,000 worth of diamonds. He went on to commit further crimes on the western coast of the United States.
